Works with every language
The converter uses full Unicode case mapping, so accented and non-Latin letters are converted correctly – élan becomes ÉLAN and the German ß becomes SS in uppercase. For the programming cases, punctuation is removed and word boundaries are detected automatically, including existing camelCase words.
Private and instant
Your text is converted in your browser as you type and is never sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between title case and sentence case?
Title case capitalises the first letter of every word (“The Quick Brown Fox”). Sentence case only capitalises the first letter of each sentence (“The quick brown fox.”), like normal prose.
How do I convert text to camelCase or snake_case?
Paste your text and choose camelCase or snake_case. Spaces, hyphens and punctuation are treated as word boundaries, and existing camelCase words are split correctly.
Does the converter keep line breaks?
Yes. For UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, alternating and inverse case, all spacing and line breaks are preserved exactly.
