Notifications

Tools that can tell you about something new while a Synsi tab is open, even when you are in another tab or app. Choose them for this browser.

This browser cannot show notifications from websites.

  • Says “New message” while a Synsi tab is open – never who wrote it or what.

Your choice is stored in this browser only. Notifications never show personal content such as a message or a number. They work while a Synsi tab is open; closed tabs get none.

How to use the Lorem Ipsum Generator

  1. 1 Choose how many paragraphs, sentences or words you need.
  2. 2 Decide whether the text should start with “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…”.
  3. 3 Copy or download the placeholder text.

What is lorem ipsum?

Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin text that designers and developers use as a placeholder when the real content is not ready yet. It comes from De finibus bonorum et malorum, written by Cicero in 45 BC, and has been used by typesetters since the 1500s.

Why use placeholder text?

Readable text draws attention to what it says. Lorem ipsum has a natural distribution of word lengths and letters, so it looks like real copy while letting reviewers focus on layout, typography and spacing. It is ideal for website mockups, print templates, presentation slides and testing how a component handles long or short text.

Paragraphs, sentences or words

  • Paragraphs – for filling articles, blog layouts and long-form pages.
  • Sentences – for cards, teasers and descriptions.
  • Words – for headings, buttons and labels with a fixed length.

The generated text is always the same for the same settings, which makes it handy for repeatable screenshots and tests.

Don't forget to replace it

Placeholder text that reaches production looks unprofessional and can hurt your SEO, because search engines consider it low-quality content. Search your project for lorem before launch.

Frequently asked questions

Does lorem ipsum mean anything?

Not really. It is based on a passage by Cicero, but words have been cut, altered and added, so the text has no coherent meaning – which is exactly the point.

Can I use lorem ipsum commercially?

Yes. The text is centuries old and in the public domain, so you can use it freely in any project.

Why is the generated text always the same?

The generator is deterministic: the same settings always produce the same text. That keeps mockups, screenshots and automated tests consistent.
